Patti Marina, winter beach
A postcard from the first half of this year's winter holiday. Nobody goes to the beach in winter, despite the nice weather allowing me to stay in a T-shirt. I also briefly entertained the idea of jumping into the sea: the incredible amount of jellyfish washed ashore deterred me, not the temperature. I drew a view of the Sicilian beach at Patti Marina, with numerous boats parked for the winter. In the background, the familiar cape of Tindari is visible, where the namesake sanctuary is located, as well as the ruins of the ancient Greek city.
