Drancia Fountain and Castiglia View fullsize "La Castiglia": it was the castle of Saluzzo marquesses from XIII till XVI century, then abandoned to decay. In 1822, it was converted to prison, and was in use as such until 1992. I still remember the inmates hands on the windows' grate when I was a child. Now it is a museum. Somebody put three goldfishes in the iconic Drancia Fountain and now they are swimming in there, unaware of centuries of history.
